Leadership Academy
The F.I.R.E. Leadership Academy teaches and trains activists, volunteers, and other interested individuals the skills necessary to educate voters, mobilize communities, and build power for their causes. As a learning community, we not only teach theory, but we put it into practice during each training as well as provide action opportunities in between trainings through local, state, and national initiatives

Climate Change
Without a movement powerful enough to win bold solutions to the climate crisis, over the coming years, we all will increasingly bear the brunt of the greatest man-made disaster the world has ever known. Each day brings a devastating new story of climate change???s impact as we???ve already seen in our own communities in New Orleans, New York City, the Central Valley and beyond. These impacts will only intensify as time goes on. We must work together to build power and leadership on climate change to lessen the impact. Join FIRE to work in coalition with the Orlando Climate Movement on this urgent issue facing all of us.
Women's Project
The Florida Institute for Reform and Empowerment (F.I.R.E.) has developed a strategy to advance pro-women and pro-family policies through a non-partisan public education campaign aimed at increasing informed civic participation and engagement among women. The goal of this plan is to create lasting change through strategic, long-term capacity building by which we will build an organized constituency of women to demand better economic conditions and opportunities.

By the way, the “From Paris to Orlando” conference that Yulissa organized at FAMU School of Law, here in Orlando, two weeks ago today, was great! Really inspiring!
